Yerva is an ambient and reading lamp designed for houses and workspaces. It is powered only by the energy generated from plants; this is renewable, creates an economical and psychological profit in the user while advertising the existence of the P-MFC technology, as it still doesn’t have an audience. Plants produce through photosynthesis organic matter which is expelled into the soil and oxidized by the bacteria that live around roots, releasing electrons that are accumulated inside Yerva. The lamp charges wirelessly when placed on the pot; by holding it from the arch it can be used elsewhere.

I am a student graduated in the Industrial and Environmental Design course at University of Camerino, who has worked during the years of university in several companies, developing my knowledge of digital modeling, graphics and interior design. I'm currently studying in Milan at Istituto Marangoni, after winning a scholarship for the Master in Product & Furniture Design.
