The "Corsa dei Ceri" (Ceri Race) is one of the oldest Italian rite celebration.
For many centuries, it has lived to the streets every year on May 15 in Gubbio (Perugia),Italy and still has a fundamental role for the community of Gubbio.
A ritual that is lived thanks to a multitude of faces, looks, gestures, voices and passions.
The celebration is consumed in an irrepressible explosion of faith and civic identity passion.
Bio Lives in Umbria,Italy. Engineer. His main interest has been B/W reportage. He coauthored, with the RAI journalist Luca Cardinalini, the book “STTL La terra ti sia lieve”. With Luigi Loretoni, he published in 2008 “Miserere”, in 2011 “Gubbio, I Ceri” and in 2014 “Kovilj”. Also in 2014 he has published "Boxing Notes. He is coauthor of “I colori del Jazz”2010 and published “Jazz Notes” in 2019. In 2020, he published “Vita e Morte - Rapsodia Messicana” and in 2021 "Passione per lo Sport". He has been awarded or has been a finalist in many national and international competitions.
