    The building is located on a small site in an area of Tokyo that had many temples, samurai estates in the Edo period but now has many Embassies. We aimed to create a residence that could melt into this historical yet international neighborhood. Despite the physical and zoning restrictions of the site strictly controlling the building mass, we strived to create a healthy life for residence bringing the greenery of the embassy and traditional manor to the north. This is while taking advantage of views of the sky available due to the slope and low rise neighborhood to the south.
