The elongated shape fits easily in front of a sofa, where it was designed for. The green marble, divided into parts of different sizes and different shades of green, refers to the plantation fields, which are very common in Brazil. The brass divisions on the table top bend 90 degrees on the sides, becoming the table feet. The Campo table design was inspired by the aerial photo of the Mato Grosso do Sul region and converted to the scale of furniture design. After the marble version was fabricated, we decided to make a version in wood as well, using different shades to reaffirm the initial idea.

Flavio Castro had the opportunity to start designing and building early, with only 20 years old. Flavio defends that practical experience completes academic theory, and has always worked in these two areas, with experience in architectural firms inside and outside Brazil. After three years of Masters in Barcelona, he returned to Brazil and settled in São Paulo, founding FCstudo in 2009. The collaboration system that exists within the office allows a constant exchange of information among professionals who join the team depending on each project´s demand.
