Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Tokyo Branch
The project is a relocation of the Tokyo branch of the national bank of Indonesia, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI). We aimed to transform the conventionally rigid atmosphere of a bank into an inviting space, as the client sought an innovative space that would serve multiple functions, including a bank branch, a social space for investors to gather, and a showroom to promote the richness of Indonesian culture. This new and reimagined appearance represents the very spirit of BNI, connecting Indonesia and Japan while reflecting the bank's aim to become a global bank takes roots in local communities.
Bio We are proud to be the largest-scale design firm in Japan without a construction or sales department, and our designers and creators with their rich individuality have been involved in various projects both in Japan and overseas.
