These characters represent the number three hundred sixty-five. A year is 365 days. I believe that life is to face oneself and just keep going step by step, diligently, day by day.

I assembled each line as if it were a stack of building blocks, so that the collection of black lines in white would have the greatest presence. I sought an absolute presence that would never waver.

Bio
- Lives and works in Kyoto (born in Iizuka city, Fukuoka and raised in Kyoto)
- Started calligraphy training at the age of 5
- Graduated from Kindai University
- Started receiving training under Ryosetsu IMAI at the age of 30
- In 2011, 2012, 2014, selected for the Nitten Exhibition (one of the most prestigious fine arts exhibitions in Japan)
- In 2017, determined to present his art works that transcend the boundaries of calligraphy to the world.
