    "Pursuit"is inspired by the theme "The sound of oars, the shadow of sails; a song resounds amidst the vast waters," highlighting the importance of water as a life source and a key element of Yichang’s mountain-water cityscape. The sculpture draws from the cultural heritage of the Yangtze River, with the image of a sailboat gliding over rippling water symbolizing Yichang’s unique ecological culture and its identity as the "World Hydropower Capital." The work integrates the power and flow of the Yangtze River, reflecting Yichang’s spirit of innovation, unity, and dedication.
