My practice includes textile and numerical techniques, laser cutting and engraving. I am working with luminescent and reflective materials and medical imagery. The last one is allowing me to expand my research on light, memory , science and society, as well as to recycle discarded materials . I have been making a lot of X-rays textile installations with human figures and, in this work, my interest has turned to transmission codes and their evolution through time, the semiology of communication in its cultural and social dimension, and our place in this net. Figures in front of screens, witnesses of an intrusive contemporary society of conventional signs in perpetual evolution, are standing in a quiet exchange. Multiple information penetrates our skin and mind, like types of tattoos, dangerous new scars in mutation. The use of transparent X-rays and reflective fabric contributes to the concept of the constant to and fro between human and QR Code.
