    In this hotel, we reinterpreted in contemporary ways various motifs symbolizing Kyoto to create a scene of beginning that will be engraved in the hearts of guests. The lattice behind the front desk revives Japanese traditional techniques for the present time in acrylic and hinoki cedar. Hybrids of solid natural wood and foil are transformed into works of art. Plates transfer graphics of Kyoto's mountains to cloth, creating sliding screens with a modern flair. By expressing Japanese traditional aesthetics in modern ways, we have created a space that is unique.
