The photographs presented here attempt to convey a more conceptual idea of what I see through my camera lens whilst walking beside nature. I use it as a tool to focus my thoughts and feelings, and in doing so, inspiring the viewer to explore the relationship between the colours, shapes and textures conveyed in each image thus allowing them to envisage taking the same walk as I and explore what each piece means to them. Thoughts and stories of the past, present and the future can be released in that first moment of view, but may sometimes linger subconsciously undisturbed in one's imagination.
Bio I use an array of techniques including camera-less, analogue and digital media, respectively. My photographic projects originate from a desire to invite the viewer to witness some of the subtle unseen details of their environment. I am constantly striving to observe and form my own unique frame of the visual situation laid out before me using colour or black and white photographic processes, studying the subject matter and seeking out its visual interpretation beyond what is represented through the lens; very much an evolving process shaping context to produce more ethereal type imagery.
