    Phantasm

    My project “Phantasm” is a series of surreal tableaus which blend fantasy with reality. Photographs of old, broken and discarded mannequins are collaged with cutouts and snippets from magazines, newspapers,or any other found images to create a strange and extraordinary world. Inanimate objects become part of a real world thus creating tension and discomfort. These imaginary characters become actors on a stage. The work invites the viewer to imagine and suggest a narrative and engage emotionally with these tableaus that are mere fragments of this occult world created by my subconscious.
