Iceberg by Mario Cucinella Architects Winner of the competition held in recent years by the I.R.C.C.S. San Raffaele Hospital in Milan (Italy) MC A studio designed a building, with an area of 40 thousand square meters, to harmoniously connect the existing buildings that are part of the hospital. The building envelope was made with eco-sustainable technologies and materials, such as the external ceramic slats capable of disintegrating smog particles, like forty trees, and preserving heat, reducing energy consumption by 60%.
