    'Bhakti' in Sanskrit means devotion. The images endeavour to convey the devotion to the materials & colours that bring to life the textures of every surface felt and seen. The sun kissed feel of long forgotten & oft ignored traditions of mud plaster and hand polished lime plaster leave a lasting impression. Sunlight streaming through well positioned niches brings the raw stone and rustic iron alive in austere tones. A sensory delight. The fluidity of form contrasting the taught and minimal but purposeful use of embellishments is sheer poetry recorded in a two-dimensional image.
