The collection illustrates the undeniable interconnectedness of all living things. A symbolic depiction of the Jungian archetypes is also provided by the animals. As we associate the tiger with the attribute of strength, the representation of the magician is hidden behind the image of the tiger. The wolf is a symbol for the explorer because we associate wolves with independence and mobility. Additionally, I find that the imagery of wild animals near a person, especially a child serves as a powerful metaphor for the inner strength and potential we all carry within ourselves.
Bio I am a young self-taught artist from Croatia residing in Lisbon at the moment. Neo-expressionism had a major influence on me in the early stages of my artistic development, and I felt drawn to create in this area. Later, I discovered that my passion for children's book illustration was driving me away from abstract and neo-expressionist painting and toward fictional figurative illustrations with a focus on the natural world, which is a result of my great appreciation and love for both flora and fauna. I enjoy utilizing a variety of media in my work and occasionally working digitally.
