    Canon EOS RP, 24mm, f/11, 1,800. While driving home from a visit to the Hualapa Mountains in Arizona, United States, I passed by this gem of a photo opportunity. It wasn't a great time of day for beautiful light so I decided this would be a great black and white. Upon converting in Photoshop CC, I decided making the image look it was drawn with a pencil would add great character to an already great photo. After hours of tweaking and deleting background distractions, I was happy with this version of my photograph.

    I am a fine art/photojournalist photographer living in the United States doing photography for the past twenty-two years. My work is with photo agency Age Fotostock in Spain and I do freelance work for Southern California newspaper, Press Enterprise.
