Endless Moonlight

This project delves into the rich significance of the moon in Chinese culture. Through the illustrations, I visualized the imagination and interpretation related to the moon from both cultural and personal perspectives. Endless Moonlight aims to serve as a bridge of cultural sharing and communication, providing audiences from different cultural backgrounds an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of my culture. I hope to dissolve language barriers and dispel stereotypes about Chinese people and our culture, which were often caused by political reasons.

Bio
As an illustrator, Yueming Li seeks to delve into the visualization of the inner world through metaphors and symbols driven by a fascination with the narrativity of illustration. With experience studying abroad since her teenage years, she believes that visual language eliminates the barriers among different languages and cultures. Her illustration serves as a bridge of sharing and communication. Through her work, Yueming invites the viewers and audience on a journey of self-exploration and analysis.
