Dolly's Diner is part of my body of work "The Other", which explores how patriarchal society shapes women's identities. The work delves into the struggle between conforming to self-limiting beliefs, societal pressure and discovering one's authentic self. Irene, the main character, moved to Hollywood to pursue success but ended up working as a waitress in a local diner. This is a reflection on the patterns that shape our lives. Dolly's Diner also speaks out against the prevalence of sexual abuse, which is widely known in the film industry and also in many other spheres.
