Bio Dan McCormack began photographing the nude at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1967 while working on his MFA degree in Photography. Then for over forty years, he explored various techniques and processes while photographing the nude as a central theme. Dan won a NYSCA-CAPS fellowship in Photography in 1982. Around 1998, he began to explore pinhole photography and won the Ultimate Eye Foundation’s grant for Figurative Photography in 2009 with his pinhole camera imagery of nudes. Currently, Dan McCormack heads the Photography program at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
