    The Peony Pavilion is a folk love story in ancient China. The story is about a woman who is required to stay indoors in a patriarchal society. Until she heard a love story in the Book of Songs, she had a dream about love in the Peony Pavilion...

    I have created this poignant love story into a book through printmaking, with a four page theme of closure, listening, dreaming, and martyrdom. When printing, I used a dual color overprint method. The blue part is a dream, and the black part is a reality. The textual content of the story hangs in a flowing form on top of the book.
