I look at the relationship between deity, humans, and nature as a hierarchy system. From deity in the top to nature and human eye symbolism in the middle. It is difficult for humans to think holistically about our relationship with nature because we are in it, so we imagine a "god" to control our relationship with nature, even though it is imaginary. The symmetrical composition, expressed the concept of a “balanced world”.

Yumeng Kuai, a native of Shanghai. Now studying at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her art shows the conflict between ecology, sustainability, and human development. Focusing on the threats posed by the environmental change to nature, marine life, and endangered species. Through the medium of art, she explores the relationship between human civilization and the rich ecosystems we must protect, highlighting the shared responsibility we must take to move towards a sustainable future.
