This piece of mixed-material art is made of charred wood, clay and metal. It celebrates botanic life by drawing attention to its uniqueness and rejuvenating nature through a subtle expression that becomes evident upon closer inspection. The diversity of nature is portrayed through a positive facial expressions. My aim is to draw attention to the fragility of nature and the ability to regenerate when given the opportunity and place. Sparked by Australias fire management, this piece of art represents the natural life cycle, the way we interact and adapt to our environment.
