Makina Andras_I

3 handed rectangular watches are almost always art deco inspired, dress watches. Makina brings uniqueness to an archetype not commonly known for design innovation with a sportier, more modern approach. Coated in stealth black, Andras_I’s case is composed of angular shapes and pronounced edges that make up its multifaceted design, finished with gloss and brushed surfaces. Its dial, made of brass, is multi-layered and has a contemporary matte finish. Its strap is muscular and shapely, echoing its chiseled case and 3-dimensional dial. Andras_I was designed to look imposing from every angle.

Danilo Villanueva is an adman, product designer and entrepreneur. He has been in the creative advertising industry for over 15 years with international experience working in multinational agencies like TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles, Saatchi Los Angeles, Leo Burnett Dubai, BBDO Beijing and MRM/Mccann New York. He's built local and global integrated campaigns for major brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, Toyota, Emirates Airlines, Cartier, VISA, Enfamil, Tencent, etc. He is also the Founder and Creative Director of Makina Watches, a watch company born in the Philippines.
