Some of my fellow artists are very good at marketing themselves. They are able to sell their art without fear to anyone who might be able to help them advance their careers. I'm not very good at that. I don't have the courage to do that. So I always look at them with envy. I drew this picture by comparing it to hitchhiking. Hitchhikers cannot get into a car unless they put up a sign and appeal for help. In the same way, I think that in an artist's career, those who appeal for themselves more and more will be able to get in a good car and build up their career. Such is the picture.

Born in Tokyo in 1998. Lives and works in Tokyo. Inspired by everyday life, her pop artwork with a strong message has gained support mainly from people in their 20's.
