In Calabria there's still a charcoal pit where men, working every day throughout the year, still produce high quality coal all by hand, according to an ancient tradition that is passed from father to son or from family to family.The charcoal burner burns for 4 days and in these days it's always monitored (day and night),everything must be followed for their safety and the surrounding forest and the guarantee that the transformation process takes place successfully (the fire inside must always be constant ).Not an easy, tiring, scrupulous and unenviable job, but these men do it with pride.
Bio I'm a commercial agent but photography for me is a great passion. As most of us I've always taken photos but I started seriously since 2012.
My favourite photographic subject in the last years is modern architecture and minimalism but I ranges from portrait to travel photography to street photography.
