    Over the years, I have collected a diary belonging to a loved one suffering from schizophrenia. Its entries at times contain elements of her fears, at times harbor self-doubt, and always carry a longing for family, despite the scribbled handwriting and fragmented sentences, as if her thoughts are in disarray. Her illness has erected walls that confine her to an isolated world. On the other hand, I aspire to create a series of works alongside the patient, using her words as inspiration. I seek to envision the world she envisions and to craft images based on her words.
