On the Third Day

“On the Third Day” is a symbolist narration of the Genesis, specifically, the creation of the planet Earth and Humankind. The story is a dream about the creation, how the light shapes the sky, the rocks and the oceans. This is the beginning of our realm, from the metaphysical space to reality. This project is also a representation of the unbalanced fight between light and darkness. With the former forever piercing and defeating the latter, but neither of them has meaning without the other, representing the free will has been given to us within our consciousness as humans.

Bio
Born in 1987, I grew up in Italy on the island of Capri. I’m an international award winning photographer with projects that have deep roots in symbolism. As a self taught photographer, I learned everything on the field. I started taking photos as a journalist in my early 20s. It was the time I needed visuals to complete my articles. Much has changed since those days as I transitioned into fine art photography. I began to use photography as a form of personal research. It was the start of my path as an artist.
