This project is about the difficult life of provincial pensioners. They receive low salaries in their small villages and are forced to come to big cities to make a living. Pensioners come to work as caretakers in homes. They live away from their families for 3 months. Their only entertainment is tv and to talk with each other. The project showcases a moment of shared companionship. The caretakers went up to the roof of the house to hang clothes out to dry. Having a little fun with the laundry for the shoot greatly amused them, and at least temporarily, they forgot about their difficult fate.
