"Ensnared Identity" is a video installation exploring the profound impact of digital technology on our sense of self in an era where the digital realm shapes how we engage with the world. Avatars, our digital identities, offer liberation from physical constraints but also act as vigilant recorders, shaping our online experiences. This phenomenon confines us within curated information bubbles, influencing our identities. The installation comprises four videos vividly depicting this digital interplay. It urges viewers to scrutinize their digital identities and reclaim agency in the digital age.
