Dreaming reality

What is photography and art? This ongoing project conveys a conception of photography seen not only as an act of observation, but also of interpretation, transfiguration and even creation of reality. The photographs included in this series were made by "painting" urban and naturalistic landscapes through the photographic medium with the intention of capturing inner sensations, ideas and visions starting from the observation of the external world.
This project is a tribute to experimentalism beyond labels, an homage to art and creativity in all their forms.

Bio
I was born in Monza, Northern Italy and have always been passionate about photography, long before owing a camera. My approach to photography is rooted in cross-genre experimentalism often lying in minimalism and abstraction which are in my view particularly effective in interpreting photography not much as a way of documenting reality but as a reflection about reality itself both on a personal and universal level. I express myself through several genres (fine art, architecture, landscape, street photography, documentary) and approach several styles and photographic techniques.
