Created during an emotional phase in my life, capturing the evolving eternal moment, I was able to revel in that dark state, yet exclaim how the music felt exactly how I was feeling, and eventually it became uplifting, sparkling like lost love dust when combined with the film phase, that appeared before me at the right moment and transformed the work into a major installation in my catalogue spanning 30+ years. Installation can be experienced in a gallery or at home.

Bio
Sound artist, entertainer & visiting professor, Janek Schaefer trained as an Architect at the Royal College of Art, where he developed his focus on the relationship between sound, space and place. For 3 decades the context of each idea is central to its development and resolution, often exploring themes of appropriation, accident, & alteration, and frequently addresses the implications of the way we are living. Exhibiting and performing in 30 countries, he now no longer flies by choice.
