These are photos about my grandma, who is 90.She has lived a difficult life in times of Soviet Union and Russia. She was a child during the war:moved from Moscow to Novosibirsk, stood in queues and worked for bread during cold Siberian winters. She fed all our family during 90’s when people in Russia had no money and no job:she grew fruits and vegetables in her own kitchen-garden.Now she is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and does not understand who she is and who I am to her, her granddaughter. When I visit her with my children she does not recognise us. This is a surrealistic loss of identity.
