    We aimed to create a new senior residence in a densely built city, incorporating the relationships of the surrounding environment, the dynamism of the city's topography, and greenery. It is a residence for older people where they can enjoy a small amount of nature in the city and where living in place will lead to good health. The project aimed to create "a residence that embodies the view of Gotenyama" on a site in the heart of Tokyo, a lush green area with undulating valleys and plateaus known as Gotenyama.
