and diverse resources. Apart from its traditional cuisine, cultural history, local customs, pottery, wood carving, and other
cultural aspects, there's a lack of a catalyst for change that could transform Miaoli. The town is lacking comprehensive urban
planning, landmark architecture, and distinctive leisure spots.
