I am a big fan of Frank Gehry’s vision in architecture. In the past I was lucky to see some of his work.
I had a longtime wish to go to Bilbao in Spain and experience the influence he has had on the city with his building. The Guggenheim Museum exceeded my expectations: beautiful! This was not enough. I went to Laguardia/Elciego and saw the very impressive Hotel Marqués de Riscal.
In Arles, France the recently inaugurated very unusual LUMA Art Center added to my admiration for this remarkable Canadian architect.
