    I am an Australian artist and my visual practice is distinguished by the juxtaposition of science, philosophy and metaphysical influences. The “Continuum” project explores the fluidity of existence and the mysteries of the universe that often lie just beyond our perception. This series of paintings reflect on aspects of creation, how everything is interconnected, and the essence of nature as it changes and transforms in time and space. My detailed painting technique has taken years to develop and exemplifies the continuity between all things.

    Bio
    Beric Henderson is an Australian artist with a background in science (PhD in biology, 1990, Univ. Sydney). His art has been presented through 14 solo exhibitions and ~70 group exhibitions in Australia and internationally since 2003, and his work explores the interface of art and science and the integral connections between humans and the natural world. The major theme is exploring the nature of change, and in turn the changes in nature.
