Bio
I'm Maryam (b.1997 in Shahr-e Kord, Iran) an Iranian visual artist and photographer.I was born in a craftsman family in which I learned carpentry and carpet weaving from my parents. I spent some time in filmmaking, storytelling, and photojournalism and worked for some photo agencies. Considering my personal interest in street photography and much more in the documentary, I chose to continue the documentary genre professionally and participated in several group documentary projects and exhibitions.By the time I found my interesting field, I focused on visual art mainly on women's problems.
