    I met Floortje because of my bullying project (2018), she wanted to take part in the ongoing series. After we talked and I took her portrait I asked her if I could tell her story by using my photography. Her depression is partly caused by her bullying past. I am creating various series to tell the individual stories of people who have a history in bullying. Because her own art and her poetry are telling her story in her own words we decided to collaborate and combine it in this series. The series was just been shown to public in Galery Pennings in Eindhoven (NL).

    Bio
    Susan Leurs (1966, Heerlen, the Netherlands) grew up in a family were photography was an important part of life. In 2009 she was asked to participate in an exhibition in Brussels (Belgium) and that was the start of many exhibitions. She has won several prizes with her series, her main goal is to interact with her public. She tells stories about people that have to be told. Since 2016 she is working on her project Bullying. Her new series is about depression, her main goal is to tell stories of people who have trouble telling their story.
