Without air

It's hard to describe your emotions when your country is at war. The world that you previously nurtured and built is crumbling like a sandcastle. The "Without air" series was born from my own experience. It consists of a self-portrait and an image of fruits and flowers in vacuum packaging. Vacuuming extends the shelf life. By leaving Ukraine, my home, I saved myself and my children, but I deprived myself of the opportunity to feel and breathe freely. I feel like I'm in a vacuum. Destruction, human losses, separation from dear people deprived me of the organicity of being.

Bio
I live and work in Kyiv. Studied in the `Kyiv School of Photography` In a year of learning, I developed expertise and discovered a fascinating world of art photography. I was studying aesthetics and composition under the mentorship of a renowned Ukrainian photographer and art expert - Dimitri Bogachyk. Photography for me is one of the ways of self-expression. It is full of freedom to express, create and inspire. It is as a way to capture a moment, embrace it with my vision and evoke deep emotions in the viewers and allow them to feel the harmony within the scene.
