    As a passionate travel and street photographer, I’ve found India to be a dream destination. But in the heart of the pandemic, locations teeming with human life were hardly an option. Enter Antarctica. Though far outside my comfort zone in every conceivable way, I was instantly captivated. And as my eye and my lens fixed themselves upon those vast, epic, barren expanses - so objectively different from anything I'd ever seen or experienced - there was still something deeply comforting and almost familiar about the place. Is the world really so big?

    Paul Ackerley is an avid travel and street photographer from Toronto, Canada. He has a passion for seeking out, celebrating and memorializing unique moments that have never happened before… and never will again. With a recent trip to Antarctica, he has just one continent left to set foot on.
