I am always fascinated when, in my photographic explorations of abandoned places, I find situations in which the vegetation takes back its stolen spaces. There is a deep inverse relationship between the time that flows slowly and inexorably in forgotten buildings destined to oblivion, and the almost imperceptible but inexorable advance of the vegetation that takes back these abandoned places, returning to new life. The death of a place turns into the flourishing of nature, and as the ancient Romans said in latin..."Mors tua vita mea!"
