I spend much of my photographic time alone.
As many photographers, I am sure, do.
Perhaps my mind is gray, and perhaps that is why I am so absorbed in the colors that stream through my viewfinder.
These photographs were created from the absence of a certain presence.
In order to achieve a certain psychological portrayal, I suppressed color as much as possible.
It is, of course, impossible to see the ocean together when we are apart.
If I can show you this ocean through my eyes, does that mean that we have seen it together?
If so, that would also be good.
