The series “The Art of Design” arises from the realization that inspiration knows no boundaries. Short-lived consumer products serve as subjects here, whose design features are artistically reinterpreted. These are the first two works of this series and depict garments of a fast fashion brand with acrylic paint on canvas. Even though it is fast fashion, designers and artists go through a similar intense creative process, from which a work emerges through decisions of form and color. The result of this creative design work should not end up as waste, but inspire sustainably, just like art does.
