    “CCTV In Operation” is inspired by signs indicating recording. Our research reveals CCTV as a tool of selective surveillance. Inspired by the film “Manslaughter,” where manipulated footage creates a false alibi, we see CCTV images as staged. This raises questions about their authenticity. Using everyday scenes, our work suggests falsehoods are common, urging viewers to question accepted realities and consider the manipulation of truth.
