“Burden” captures the feeling of being overwhelmed by life’s pressures through a life-sized cutout of the artist’s silhouette, cut in half to symbolize being swallowed by the world’s weight. Placed in various urban settings and illuminated with a flashlight, the overexposed effect represents blindness—caught between the unknown’s darkness and the known’s harsh light. This series evokes isolation and the struggle between obscurity and exposure, illustrating the relentless nature of emotional and mental burdens.
