    The residential complex “Nordbahnhof 1” is a fusion of building and landscape as well as a functional interlocking of residential and commercial areas creating a lively and sustainable environment. The overall structure is divided through the horizontal layering of three buildings standing on the greened base which winds like a cascading green ribbon up to the fifth floor. Besides shared apartments, offices and maisonettes the complex offers communal facilities like an exercise room, urban gardening as well as a children`s playground encouraging residents to spend time together.
