    INA HOUSE, located in Ina City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, offers stunning views of the Southern Alps and harmonizes with nature and local culture. Built atop a symbolic river terrace plateau, this two-generation home features a wedge-shaped floor plan that maximizes site characteristics, opening the home to the landscape. A boundary wall with slit windows blurs the line between inside and outside, seamlessly integrating nature into daily life. The first floor combines Japanese elements like tatami and plaster finishes with modern design, creating a sophisticated blend of past and present.
