    Optical Hybrid Project

    Using large format analog color film, I create 4x5 transparencies (Ektachrome) which I combine with high contrast composite analog masks (4x5 orthographic film). I use this process in both the analog and digital formats to create optical film effects. These hybrid images allow me to test and modify my color film process as well as density masking . I also combine motion control with optical effects photography which allows me to develop a variety of optical special effects.
