    The focus of the Fine Art Of Resilience project is Mother Earth in the form of the Greek goddess of nature Gaia, who we encounter in every picture in a new form. Gaia always appears timelessly youthful and beautiful to us, but in reality she is not well. All images are classic Photoshop compositions that were created by hand over weeks of very complex detailed retouching (WITHOUT any use of artificial intelligence). In Photoshop I retouch using the painting techniques of the Old Masters such as sfumato, trebenism and chiaroscuro to merge my photographs with renaissance paintings.

    Hi, I'm Paul. I'm a professional photographer from Burgenland / Austria. Before I came across photography I worked many years at theaters. Creativity has always played a very important role in my life. So I ended up in the creative sector and founded an advertising agency 25 years ago. But the main thing that I loved there have always been the shootings for advertising campaigns. So one day I grabbed a camera on the set and wanted to know what these little buttons and wheels are all about. Since this remarkable day there's never been a day in my life again without photography.
