Dolunai

Dolunai is a new table I designed this year. It features two interlocking pinewood panels and a marble top that stabilizes the structure with its weight. The table requires no screws or fasteners, relying entirely on its plug-in construction. Materials are used optimally, with each placed where it performs best. Dolunai impresses with its minimalist design and smart structural details. Studio photos will be taken on February 4th, and I’ll share them afterward. Until then, the photos I’ve sent are the best available.

ChristophSteiger_Studio is known for minimalist designs with strong character. The studio uses only natural materials, producing entirely in Europe, primarily in Spain. Christoph Steiger sees himself as neither an artist nor a craftsman but works at the intersection of both, blending aesthetics with optimal mechanics. His designs draw inspiration from his training as a cabinetmaker and wood sculptor, combined with his furniture design studies at the University of Bergen in Scandinavia.
