This photo is part of my photo project "Sprouts on the ashes." I live in Ukraine and photograph my daughter’s friends and peers. They are 20 years old.. Their youth began during Covid. And without a break it went into a state of war. From the age of 16, they know nothing but isolation, anxiety, and their own and parental stress. Each of them chose a different coping strategy... some withdrew... some chose escapism... some music, creativity...
